Friday Night

Ahhh, I am back from my wonderful vacation, a lovely long week-plus of lounging around, watching bowl games and playoff games and eating; my first visit to a casino in Nevada (Reno, though, so it doesn't count so much); and a marked improvement in my skiing skills. Now it's straight back to work to pay for books.
I was pretty damn tired and not feeling so hot tonight, but on a high from Sudafed convinced myself that I could go ahead and work - I was fairly out of it the whole night and every time I did a dance was convinced I would just collapse - I have never been so tired at work in my life. Lord knows how I made any money, especially considering that it was quiet for a Friday.
It is really tough, physically, to dance, something that I don't think about until I am feeling under the weather or have taken some time off. Considering that I was operating under those dual influences last night, I am really feeling it today. My quads and glutes hurt from not being used in their regular manner over vacation (I should, while on a break, repeatedly drop dollar bills on the ground and squat to pick them up in order to keep my ass in shape). And, good god, I had a bachelor party to do tonight as well. I thought I was going to fall asleep in the car on the way there and had no idea how I would muster up enough personality and stamina to perform.
