Saturday afternoon, the Omni

Saturday I roused myself and headed for Avant since the stylist the photographer had hired wasn't going to be able to make it. I had the lovely task of explaining to my stylists that I was taking nudie shots to be shopped to men's magazines. The shoot was in my friend Monty's office, in which he so gracefully allowed me to lounge around naked. I imagine that he thinks of his desk a bit differently now. It was actually really great to shoot there; I like having Monty around anyway, because he's my friend, but he would also tell me if I was doing something that looked silly.
This photographer hadn't had a whole lot of experience in shoots of this type, and neither have I, so I think we pretty much blundered through the whole thing. He was having problems giving me directions, being tentative and saying things like, "Ok, now, try to sit up. Try to look at the light." I'm thinking, I don't have to "try" to do these things, I can, so just tell me to do them! I guess he was "trying" to be gentle about the whole giving directions thing, but honestly, I want the person behind the lens to tell me what to do so that I will look my best! He was really nice and easygoing, and I would imagine that after more shoots he'll have the rhythm down and things will qo more quickly. We did some shots of me in a sheer top and leather pants, and one of me in a suit in the office, crawling around on the desk. These were not split beaver shots, by the way, so don't be looking for me in Cheri or anything. I will be interested to see if they get sold.
One thing I was self-conscious about: when I was on vacation, the woman that gave me my bikini wax left me crooked! Dammit, I get my landing strip straight in the shower, she couldn't do it with me lying on a table? So I have been bald for a couple of weeks now and I have to say that aesthetically, I like some hair down there. At least in front, you know. I've never seen pictures of myself shaved all naked like that; hope they look ok. The things I worry about. I will be seeing slides tomorrow, so I'll report back on the quality.
After the car trouble on Friday and the waking up early on Saturday, I was bushed and bagged out on my social commitments for the night - my allergies flared up too, so I was more than happy to veg out for a few hours. Besides, I had a very long day coming up on Monday.
