I did a party for some really fun guys last night; when I walked in, there was a huge bong on their table and they were still eating dinner. While Ezra (my sister's boyfriend, a blacksmith and generally very useful guy to have around) was setting up my stuff, I went into one of the guy's rooms to change. The house was a definite bachelor pad with a surplus of stereo and computer equipment and a paucity of furniture. In this guy's bedroom I was charmed to see a row of the complete Harry Potter books on a shelf. One of the hosts knocked while I was changing to ask if pictures were allowed. I told him there were already naked pictures of me on the internet, so it was up to them.
The guy with the camera was busy during most of my show, it was really very funny. At one point in the night, he told one of his fellow guests that was acting up "If you do that again we're going to give you two minutes in the box!" I said, "And he will feel shame." "You know Slapshot?" I told him he'd be amazed how many hockey fans were strippers. It's always funny to me what little things bowl guys over when a stripper says them - either from expectation or experience they don't expect us to be conversationally entertaining, aware of pop culture references, etc. so that when we exhibit some personality or intelligence, they're impressed in a way they wouldn't be were I fully clothed. I find this really entertaining and illustrative of a lot of stereotypes about strippers - as well as profitable.
Some of the guys mostly hung out in the kitchen during the show; I wish I'd gotten them a bit more involved. I did lapdances for just about everyone there and they were all really nice. Something I realized - I really like doing dances for big guys - tall, meaty guys, because you can crawl all over them and not worry about hurting them.
I have a party tonight in Johnson City. A girl got in touch with me a few days ago looking for a dancer for her boyfriend's 21st birthday. Not only does this make her an awesome girlfriend, she also is studying to be a nurse and asked me to dress in a nurse's outfit! I'm making a really slutty one right now out of white velvet and red satin. It's going to be a minidress with apron and cap - and I have a big package of rubber gloves to strap on for effect. If only I had an examining table. Oh, she also asked me to come by after 11 so that she would have time "to make sure the parents and grandparents have all left." This should be a good one.
