Summer school's had me busy so I haven't been working a whole lot, but I did do a really fun party last Saturday night for a bunch of Indian (at least I think they were Indian, I suppose they could have been Pakistani) guys with Madisin. The guy that set it up had been emailing me for weeks with questions - he had a very large group of guys to coordinate. I want to take a second to mention that I think Indian folks - men and women - are hot hot hot, so I was looking forward to the party.
It almost fell apart. I was feeling under the weather all week, and the night before at work Madisin wasn't feeling too hot either. When I called her Saturday afternoon, she said she didn't feel up to the party, so I frantically called around trying to find out what the party wanted to do. I called her back to talk to Leah, her roommate, about working with me, and Madisin said that she'd go ahead and do it with me. Thank god! I had asked her originally on a whim - the guys had a smaller budget than I usually charge for two-girl shows, so I just floated the price to her and since she was willing to do it and since I would always rather have another girl with me, I set it up.
We drove way the hell out into Lakeway to these vacation condos where they'd set up for the weekend. As it turns out, I didn't have to worry about the lower rate - these guys tossed stacks and stacks of money at us, and even slipped us an extra $100 as we were leaving. Some of them were getting really handsy and obnoxious, but the bachelor was great! Madisin beat the living crap out of him with the amazing assortment of whips that she has. The shower raffle was a hit, as was the candle wax. They did really crowd us, though, I didn't have enough room to maneuver.
My favorite thing about this party was when the guys repeatedly broke into song - football songs? Cricket songs? Drinking songs? I don't know, I didn't know the language and would have felt ignorant asking, "Hey, what language do you guys speak, and how do you say 'lap dance' in it?" They were very jubilant, these men. I hope they book us again.
