It's been a busy week, what with getting married and SXSW, but I'll be back soon.

Frodo was just on my elevator. At first I thought it was Spiderman, but apparently I just can't tell my short actors apart.

One of my friends called blogs "the dullest waste of electricity on the fucking planet." But not mine, he says, because it's got titties. And those are always fascinating.

On that note, I feel I must reveal that I'm having a cosmetic procedure performed this week. I know they are natural, but the time has come when that's not good enough. That's right, I'm having dental work done. I had a lovely bleaching this morning and wil be getting some new porcelain crowns soon as well.

I worked on Monday night and was the recipient of some gorgeous roses, a belated get-well-soon gift for my wisdom teeth from a very sweet customer. They are still looking lovely today.

I didn't hear anyone doing coke in the bathroom, though I heard one girl say, "If it grows in cow shit or out of the ground I'll do it, but that's it."

The Yuppie Pricks' new album is out; I'm in the gatefold and on the CD itself. I believe the gatefold photo is on the website now. It's my third album appearance, I think. I'm on the cover of this one and on the back of this one. I think I might be the only stripper who has both modeled for album covers and written liner notes; though not for the same album. Now if only I could play an instrument and appear on one.

Sunny and 75. Hooray for Austin.

If I recover from tomorrow's dental work quickly enough, I'll work tomorrow night. And probably Friday. Then it's a week off and "fun" at SXSW.

I like Texas, yes I do. I got to have delicious mole at Curra's, and it was good. mmmm, Curra's.

Went back to the old nudie bar last night and was happy to see familiar hotties like Becky, Divine, and Kylie still there, along with a bunch of new girls who can't dance or dress. Hee. There was a large group of guys in town on business, and when I asked one what they were doing, he said, "Testing equipment." There was a joke in there somewhere but I wasn't quick enough to make it.

The physical deterioration of that club is insane. The bathroom tile continues to go missing, the paper towel and soap dispensers are broken, and when they turn on the lights, you avoid looking at the carpet. Also, the DJs are fucked because the CD player is broken and the manager took away internet access in the booth, so they can't put any new music on the computer. My only hope is to work with the good DJ who hooks up his own computer to the system, and refuses to give his music to the club since, of course, they give him no incentive to. I totally support that decision, by the way. Getting a CD player so they can at least rip tracks into the computer would set them back, what, $200 at most? Jeez. I'm emailing Rick's corporate right now.

But it was kind of fun to be back, especially with that big party and the hot French guy I danced for. I tend more towards Eastern European types, but he was a cutie.

At one point I had to wait to use the restroom because both stalls were occupied, one by a very sniffly girl. She emerged and went to the sink, and sniffed some water to moisten her poor dry nasal passages. "Damn allergies," she said. Huh, I've never had the kind of allergies that make you talk really fast and stay up all night.

Have I mentioned how enamored I am with Secrets in Lace? Not only do they carry Dita von Teese's brand of stockings, the whole catalog has a very fetishy look to it. Delicious.

Interesting club news in Iowa these days. First, a club that had the zoning on its proposed site changed filed suit, claiming that exotic dancing is a "socially enriching" experience. Then Larry Flynt offered to help them out with their legal bills. My favorite part of all of this is what they are building on the club's former site: An indoor rain forest.

Hmm, it looks like those articles have prompted them to make people register. Remember bugmenot.com, folks.

I'll be at work tonight, too.
